Real Madrid's winger Offers Sincere Sorry to Real Madrid Fans

Vinicius Jr in action

Vinicius Jr has registered five strikes in ten Spanish league appearances during the current campaign.

Real Madrid forward Vinicius Jr has apologised to supporters for his conduct when substituted in Sunday's heated match against Barcelona triumph.

The Brazilian was replaced in the 72nd min and expressed his disappointment by walking immediately to the dressing room.

He subsequently came back to the dugout and, after his club's narrow triumph, attempted to approach Barça's youngster Yamal during unpleasant final whistle exchanges.

"This day I want to say sorry to all the Madridistas for my response when I was substituted in the big match," he wrote on his account.

"Just as I have previously expressed during today's training, I wish to express regret anew to my colleagues, the organization, and the leadership.

"Occasionally fervor gets the better of me because I constantly desire to win and assist my team. My determined nature originates in the affection I have for this club and each thing it stands for."

Vinicius moved to the Spanish capital from his former club in the year 2018 for a significant fee and has notched 111 goals in numerous matches.

But his career in the Madrid is unclear with reports in the past few months suggesting that Real would consider allowing the player leave if they were to receive a appropriate bid.

When the winger was replaced on the match day, broadcast footage from coverage provider Dazn captured him stating: "Again me! I'm departing the side! It's wiser if I leave, I'm going."

In his most recent statement on social media, he commented: "I commit to keep battling constantly for the good of Los Blancos, as I have acted since the very beginning."
